Systems Thinking Alliance has been accepted as a full member of the International Federation for Systems Research (IFSR), effective September 23, 2025. The IFSR Executive Committee approved the membership at its most recent meeting, welcoming Systems Thinking Alliance into a distinguished global community dedicated to advancing systems sciences and cybernetics.
This milestone reflects Systems Thinking Alliance’s ongoing commitment to advancing systems thinking around the world. As an IFSR member, the organization joins a federation that connects systems researchers, practitioners, and institutions across continents, helping bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Membership opens new opportunities for collaboration, shared learning, and meaningful contribution to the broader systems community. Systems Thinking Alliance looks forward to working alongside fellow members to strengthen the field and support a more humane and sustainable world through systems thinking.
